When we are fishing the west side of the Gulf Stream or the top of the deep reef the methods we use are Trolling, Kite Fishing, Live Bait Slow Trolling or Live bait power drifting. All of these fishing miami methods are successful in fishing for Sailfish, Sharks, Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin fish (Mahi), Kingfish, Great Barracuda, Little Tunny & others.
Miami Fishing Reef & Wreck Methods
Bottom fishing with long leaders and live bait around deep reefs and wrecks is a great method to catch larger Game Fish. These fish could be Golden Greater Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Grouper, Cobia & Snapper. Fishing the bottom with cut bait will catch more fish, but they are normally smaller. The fish that are caught this way could be Vermillion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Red Snapper, Grouper, Jacks, Trigger Fish & others.
