Spellbound’s Fishing Tackle

The Spellbound has a complete set of tournament proven tackle. We use new and modernFishing Miami Spellbound's fishing tackle fishing reels from Penn, Shimano, Fin-Nor & Lindgren Pitman.  All of our rods are custom built by Capt. Jay & are built from the best high teck components available.  Our hooks & line are sponsored and suppled by Rapala brands.  We use Suffix Superior Line & VMC hooks, both are the best on the market.  We also have & use a large selection of Williamson and other Rapala brand lures & jig’s.

Kite & Trolling

We have a complete set of kite fishing tackle.  Including electric kite reels, kites for all situations and a full set of 20lb & 30lb conventional & spinning rods and reels.   Our kite rods and reels are used only for kite fishing and are designed and rigged to excel in kite fishing.  Our trolling gear is all Penn International reels with Stuart Aluminum Butts.  Our trolling gear ranges from 20lb – 130lb depending on our target species.

Shark Gear

Our Shark Fishing tackle is Penn 70 & 130 International reels and custom built rods featuring Stuart Butts.  We are sponsored by GEM Products and test and use exclusively their rod holders, best on the market.  Our Fighting chair is a Murray brothers Unlimited  fighting Chair

Live Bait & Deep Drop

We have 2 Penn Down Riggers and a complete set of live bait fishing tackle from 12lb – 50lb spinning and conventional gear. We also have a set of ultra light tackle in 4lb – 8lb spinning gear.  The Spellbound also has a complete set of deep drop electric reels from 20lb standup to 130lb Swordfish and everything in between.

Bottom Gear

Our bottom fishing tackle for fishing on the deep reefs and wrecks contains conventional gear in 20lb – 50lb for cut bait bottom fishing.  Our Live Bait bottom fishing gear consists of 30lb – 100lb conventional gear.  We do a lot of jig fishing on the wrecks and reefs as well, and that gear is Penn & Fin-Nor spinning rods with 30lb to 130lb line.

All of our fishing tackle is maintained on a daily basis… because we catch a lot of FISH!
